Iced Latte

Iced Latte

$12,400.00

“Iced Latte” is my reflection on the slow violence we inflict on the planet we normalize, ignore, or disguise behind comfort and convenience. The enormous sun represents the unstoppable rise of heat, a heat we created, a heat we fear, a heat we pretend not to see.

The icebergs breaking apart reflect the fragility of our climate, the collapse of ecosystems, and the turning point we have already reached. At the center, the oil rig stands like a monument to human contradiction, the source of destruction standing proudly in the middle of nature’s suffering.

The cup at the bottom is the most painful symbol, we consume the planet’s resources until they melt into our hands. The steam rising from the cup is not warmth it is the last breath of a world we’ve exhausted.

I want to express the illusion of comfort we cling to while everything collapses around us. It is a reminder that global warming is not a distant tragedy it is something we drink, breathe, and live every day.
