Birth of the Inner Sun

“Birth of the Inner Sun” is my celebration of  the moment when we finally choose to rise, to feel, to shine, and to exist without apology. It captures the fragile, electric moment when something inside you an idea, a truth, a new version of yourself begins to take form. This painting is a visual metaphor for emergence, the instant when inner light gathers enough courage to break through the layers that once held it.

At the center of the work glows a vibrant, textured sphere of yellow and white raw, radiant, chaotic in the way all beginnings are. Surrounding it are delicate black human-like figures, symbolic glyphs, orbiting the sphere like fragments of memory, experience, pieces of self returning home. They create a sense of movement and connection, as if the entire painting is breathing.

Bold strokes of green, blue, and teal cut through the brightness, grounding the light and anchoring it in something real. These forms are the supportive energies that protect growth intuition, resilience, hope. The deep blues and reds along the outer edges embody the emotional intensity required to transform, the shadows one must walk through before reaching illumination.

The dramatic blue form rising from the lower center is a figure reaching upward, lifting, almost bowing to the new light being born. It represents surrender to transformation the beautiful moment when you stop resisting and allow becoming to happen.

The background shifts symbolizing the journey from the subconscious (where change begins) to conscious awareness (where truth becomes visible).

This painting is a reminder that our inner sun can’t be destroyed. It can be ignored, covered, or dimmed, but it cannot die. When we reconnect with that light, we reclaim our voice, our emotions, and our power. Every breakthrough begins as a quiet spark the world transforms the moment you allow your own brilliance to rise.
